My new best friendJul 29, 2010 Makes cleaning so easy. I promise you; it's the best duster I've ever seen. I hate dusting and try to avoid it like the plague but now it's a breeze and not so much a chore. I will be buying these as long as they sell it. It picks up dust and holds on to it like it's life depended on it. Love it, love it, love it.

A real timesaver plus it actually makes the job almost funJun 24, 2010 I have never been much of a housekeeper, and I really hate the repetitiousness of any cleaning jobs... no matter how well you clean the place, how much time it took to do the job, and how beautiful the end result looks, couple of days/weeks down the line the whole effect gets negated, disappears, and it's time to do it over again!! Unacceptably crazymaking, and I just refuse to participate in such an exercise of futility...
As much as I can't stand cleaning, however, I do like to live in clean environment, so most of the time I hire a cleaning lady to do the job.
Yet I still have to take care some dusting and vacuuming in-between her visits, and the Swifter is most amazing helper as far as dusting goes.
In the past I've tried the dry rags, wet rags, static dusters, and they all completely pale in the comparison with Swifter. The (dusting) job now takes a fraction of time that it used to take in the past, it's virtually almost effortless and there is no need for "fluffing out" or other cleaning of the dusting pad... when it gathers enough dust and dirt (and that job it does quite magnificently), you just throw it away.
Wonderful, wonderful product! Very simple, very elegant, reasonably inexpensive - and I love it!! (And btw all my cleaning ladies have used them as well, and loved them just as much).
Highly recommended!!

Duster is not bad, however...May 21, 2010 I was at Wal-mart and they had all the Swiffer products on sale - so I bought them all! I have a huge house, it is mostly ceramic tile. The Swiffer dry sweeper is horrible. I have no dogs, just me and my husband, and the dry sweeper rags would pick up and do a fine job, for about the first 5 foot square area, then it would just push around crumbs, etc. Basically it was like pushing around a broom - only much, much, much smaller head.
The mop. I had such high hopes for this. It takes me two hours a week to mop my house. But unfortunately, the "wet pads" dry up in just a few minutes and of course, they would not get into the grout. Then it left streaks on top it.
The duster. This is not "so bad", however i seem to be having problems getting the handles into the dust pad, seems to rip through the dust pad every time, no matter how carefully I try to be. It does a great job attracting the dust, etc though. However, it still cannot beat the rag and can approach by any means. Rag and can approach you get that nice shiny, you know it's clean look. This you get more the feeling that there is "no visible dust". As far as another reviewer who says her rag does not hold the dust? My rag is always semi-damp and I never, ever have a problem with my rag not holding my dust. Of course, I do dust 1-2 times a week, not once a month. Does work nice on my ceiling fans though!
Overall? I am going with my Shark cordless vac for sweeping, buying a steam vac for my floors and using my rag and can for dusting with the exception of using the Swiffer duster for my ceiling fans

Classy Little DusterMay 10, 2010 Have been using these Swiffer Dusters for a while now and I'm pretty excited about them; probably more excited than someone should really be about dusting and a dusting product.
Prior to using the swiffer, wet cloths and paper towel were my go to, which left much to be desired. Corners were tough to reach; certain items couldn't get damp (electronics; and all dust was generally not collected. But now with my Swiffer Dusters, those woes of dusting past are exactly that, in the past. Using static technology beyond my comprehension (pretty sure that some sort of black magic is involved), these dusters pick up all the dust, all the time. It matters not what kind of dust: light dust, heavy dust, dust bunnies...all of them are easily defeated by the Swiffer Duster.
Being able to dispose of the dusting pad once it is thoroughly exhausted its power is great, especially when dusting many areas that are incredibly dirty, as a new dusting pad can be used to instantly continue dusting. This is in contrast to other static dusters that require washing once they become dirty, causing the user to loose valuable dusting time while the product is washed.
Overall a great product; easy to use, convenient, inexpensive, magical. I recommend this to anyone who actually dusts their living quarters and possessions.
