LeakyMar 22, 2010 I liked the way this pen wrote, thin line and easy glide, so I bought a few boxes. Several leaked, ruining the inside of my handbags. Not seller's fault.
Thinest most wonderful pen !Mar 11, 2010 I brought back this pen from a trip to Japan and used it up to the last drop of ink by that time I couldn't write with anything else ! I am so glad I finally found it here. The pen at very first seems scratchy on your paper but after writing 3 words it flows like a charm and you can use it for art drawing and anybody with a small writing will love it. Easier to read your own writing as it is never blotched.
Pilot Precise PensMar 01, 2010 The Pilot Precise V5 pens are my favorite roller ball pens. I've been using them for years, although there was a time when I wasn't doing much writing and hadn't bought any for a while. Recently I decided to try these again after seeing some in a store, and got them in a variety of colors.
The blue and black are my favorites. Purple is a close second. They all write with a nice smooth line, no skipping, and in nice deep/dark shades of ink, although I did notice one of the pens felt a little scratchy on the paper. I don't remember that ever happening years ago. Either the pens are not as smooth as they used to be, or it was somewhat of a dud. Every once in a while there is a dud that won't write well at all. I experienced this in the assorted pack I've been using and noticed other reviews have mentioned this. I guess it happens but not often.
Years ago, I used to buy the Bic roller pens in 2 point sizes, and in 3 colors. The black was an almost grey-black ink. This Pilot Precise is very black, which is nice. I always liked the dark shades of the inks in these. That hasn't changed. I've also always preferred the V5 over the V7. The V7 line was too wide for me. You may want to try both to see what suits you.
The pen barrel is a nice slim design that is comfortable to hold, and you can see the ink level.
Probably the best roller pens you can find. They are a bit expensive, so look for a sale if you want. I'm rating them 5 stars because even though they aren't perfect, they're still one of my favorites.
Pilot Precise V5 Stick Rolling Ball Pen, Micro PointDec 28, 2009 I have used these pens for many years. As a city manager, I needed to sign official documents which did not fade with time. I found these pens provided all I needed - long lasting and with excellent ink flow.
this is the best pen that existsDec 28, 2009 i have been using this pen for about 11 years. i go back and forth between v5 and v7, but v5 is my favorite. 90% of the time i have one clipped inside my pants pocket.
