SurprisedJul 01, 2010 The product was fine. I was surprised to notice that it was a Costco product tho.
Wasted my moneyMar 24, 2010 I should have listened to the reviewer who mentioned if you are lactose intolerant, this isn't the product for you.
Lactose is part of the ingredients. I took these pills and had bloating, gas, and was totally uncomfortable for 3 days. I went back to the more expensive Immodium (lactose free) and I am not having these problems. I also found a generic brand in my grocery store that does not contain lactose and they work also.
it didnt work for meMar 10, 2010 it didnt control my diarrhea. i just kept going non-stop. i'm more likely not to buy this again. i purchased it cause of the brand. the brand is good in other products i guess, just not this one.

Lactose causes diarrheaDec 26, 2009 Many years ago when Imodium first appeared on the shelves, it had lactose in it. I never understood why a company that produced an ANTI-DIARRHEAL product would include an ingredient that CAUSES DIARRHEA IN 25% OF THE POPULATION. Until one day, years later when the store brand loperimide hit the shelves. IT CONTAINED LACTOSE AND THE name brand NO LONGER was formulated with lactose. This is a condition that continues to this day, years later. Store brand loperimide simply will not work as well for a quarter of the people who try it, because it contains LACTOSE. Use this product at your own risk. You might be the one out of four who find it exacerbates symptoms. I am lactose intolerant and have had need of an anti-diarrheal medication on occasion. Do NOT believe ANYONE who tells you "there cant be THAT much lactose in the pill to bother you". There can be and there is. Unfortunately McNeil-PPC, Inc. will go on telling companies that it sells to, "Oh that is OUR ORIGINAL formulation" in an attempt to obfuscate the presence of lactose, and we will be able to obtain lactose free loperimide ONLY by purchasing the much much more expensive Imodium.
Good seller!Dec 02, 2009 The product is what it is. The seller was very responsive to email questions (specifically regarding expiration dates) and shipping was quick. Would buy from this seller again.
